Tomorrow night is the last "first meeting" I'll ever have as a CKI board member. I can't believe that it's come to this, after 4 years -- this is my final quarter as an officer! It's been a great admin year and I can't have asked for a better way to end my chapters in CKI :)

Tutoring at Longfellow was so much fun today. I missed it last week, but today was my first chance to go and I'm so glad I got to attend today (Monday).

It felt so good to be able to actually help the kids who were there and it was so much fun hanging out with them!

They asked me what I was going to be for Halloween and that I should take my parents trick-or-treating. SO cute. One of the kids told me I was "good looking" ;D ahha it was because of one of those fortune teller, paper things.

It was just so great, and I can't wait to go again next week :)

I was so happy to finally have finished the newsletter today. It took me almost all day yesterday (Sunday) and I'm pretty happy with it. There are some things in it that I wish I had caught or changed before I actually published it, but that's okay! There's always the next issue. I've already written down some things that I need to get in there and change, etc. So hopefully, the next issue of the "Sunnyside Up" will be better! :)

This past weekend was so much fun with CKI South. It was great seeing people from other clubs again and just getting to bond with our new members. I <3 them. I have such a great vibe about this upcoming year, it makes me kind of sad that it's my last year and I won't have more new members to get excited about anymore after this year... I guess that just means I have to make the most of it now!

Oh, Wednesdays

I'm sitting at work right now, until 4:30 ... then it's SOUP KITCHEN! Woo hoo! Last night's meeting went really well. We had about 60 people there, which is great. Hopefully we'll maintain that number throughout the rest of the year.

I sat in class today (CS6) on my laptop, busily working on the newsletter. After an hour of changing things around and switching pictures and other elements around, I almost finished one page. I'm so nitpicky about how all the design looks. Sometimes I do something, I look at it and I change it up completely because it just doesn't look right to me =/

I'm really excited for CKI South this weekend. It's going to be really fun seeing other clubs again -- especially UNLV since I heard they're bringing like 26 people! O_O

FINALS

I'm sitting in the Watkins computer lab next to Shawn. I took my first final this morning at 8am and I already saw my grade for it :( :( :(

My next and last final is at 3:30pm! I just want to take it already and get it over with. :( :( :(

School is so hard. Summer session was supposed to be easy but it messed up my gpa hardcore. Boo.

I'm getting too anxious! I have no patience. I want Wienerschnitzel.

I'm at work right now. And I have about 2.5 more hours left before I get off work and head on over to Bear Facts Tabling! I hope it won't be too hot out today because I went outside earlier and it was pretty warm. -___-

This summer session is ending this week and I'm really excited because these classes were so boring and I can't wait to start 2 whole new classes. I'm just not looking forward to buying the books for them =/

I'm going home this weekend for the first time in a month! I'm excited to get some rest and take some unneeded stuff I have here in Riverside back to Orange County so I can make my move next month easier. It'll be one of the last times I can go home in the next couple of months because things are going to start getting really crazy hectic soon.

Reminder. I have to finish international awards this weekend.

The Dark Knight -- what a great night!

A few of us went to go watch the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight last night and it was so much fun. We got there around 10pm and we hung out there in front of the arcade until Shawn got there. I almost beat the game where you can get a "major" prize if you set up the blocks all the way up to the top but I lost at the square right before the line! :( :( :( Betty has pictures and a video to prove it! POOP! I could've won a DS lite or an Ipod! Oh well :D

The movie was so amazing. There was drama before the movie started with some girl trying to save a whole row of seating, it was interesting pre-show entertainment. We also picto-chatted with each other. FUN!

The movie itself was amazing. I won't talk about it in case you haven't seen it yet, but it was so great. I loved it. Joker was so good. I definitely think he made the movie amazing. OOHWHEE, I want to see it again!
